No diet works well for everyone
Overweight is a widespread problem that affects more and more people and often has severe consequences for the health of those affected. There is, therefore, no question that overweight people should reduce their body weight.
However, it cannot be said in general terms how one can best achieve this since genetic differences have an enormous influence on how our body uses the food supplied to it and which nutrients lead to the build-up of body fat.
Permanent fat reduction with the help of genes
Due to the different genetic predispositions, the standard recommendation to simply follow a calorie-reduced diet is usually terrible advice, which will only rarely lead to the desired result. The same applies to sport and weight loss. Here, too, general recommendations are usually not very helpful.
Instead, it makes sense to pursue an individual approach based on the genes relevant to body weight. In this way, it is possible to determine precisely what is important when compiling a diet plan and the accompanying exercise program.
This is how the Weight Sensor works
For our Weight Sensor, we carry out an extensive analysis of the sample sent in in our laboratory. We examine all eight genes that are important for body weight and, therefore, also influence fat loss.
This allows us to say, for example, very precisely whether the person in question is gaining weight as a result of a high-fat or carbohydrate-based diet and to what extent the genes affect the feeling of hunger and satiety.
After a successful analysis, we compile a comprehensive written evaluation with all the findings. The report provides concrete recommendations for an individually designed diet plan and helps to find the right balance between exercise and nutrition.
In this way, the Weight Sensor makes it much easier for overweight people to sustainably reduce their body fat percentage and thus improve their health and quality of life without unnecessary effort.
